Luna lamb wool yarn is a soft and supple knitting yarn that is excellent for most types of medium-thick garments. The yarn can be combined with Vidde lamb wool yarn and Varde fur wool yarn. It is spun from Norwegian lamb wool C1 Fine, 28 micron. This means that only the finest fibers from Norwegian white sheep are used in the production of Luna lamb wool yarn. The yarn is not superwashed, and can therefore be felted.
Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk has placed increased environmental focus on the use of dyes in our production. In Luna lamb wool yarn we use almost exclusively GOTS-approved dyes. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) requires that dyes are biodegradable and non-toxic. The finished product cannot contain allergens or residues of hazardous chemicals. GOTS-approved dyes are permitted in organic production of yarn and textiles.

We recommend hand washing the garments with mild wool soap and letting them dry flat.
