Duo is a very comfortable year-round yarn and a great alternative for people who find wool itchy. The wool makes the yarn lighter and more elastic and insulates better than pure cotton alone. The blend of merino wool and cotton makes this a light and soft yarn that insulates well. A great alternative for people who find pure wool itchy.

We always recommend hand-knitted garments be hand washed to ensure the longevity of the garment and to avoid felting.
If you choose to machine wash, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Use wool detergent. Spin well and dry the garment flat out of direct sunlight. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments as this creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
