Biches & Bûches no. 55, designed by Astrid at the Atelier with the Wool Biches & Bûches Le Gros Lambswool. Astrid's inspiration behind this jumper was to design a classic, with the thick and cosy texture of Le Gros Lambswool, bringing a lot of hygge, warmth and cosiness. It is short and slightly oversized, with a minimalist touch and elegance.
Construction
The sweater is worked in stocking stitch with cuffs and collar in ribbing.
The upper part of the back and front are worked separately, back and forth, top down to the underarms.
From here, the back and front are worked in the round.
For the sleeves, you pick up stitches along the armhole, and they are worked top down in the round. There are two collar versions, a classic collar like the photo or an open collar. The sweater is seamless.
