Alpakka Ull is a heavy DK weight 65% alpaca and 35% wool blend.
In this blend, the yarn retains the softness and insulating properties of the alpaca fibre, while the wool provides lightness and elasticity. Both alpaca and wool have good heat-regulating properties.

We always recommend hand-knitted garments be hand washed to ensure the longevity of the garment and to avoid felting.
If you choose to machine wash, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Use wool detergent. Spin well and dry the garment flat out of direct sunlight. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments as this creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
