Vams is a 2-ply carded yarn made of 100% Norwegian wool. This is our fullest wool yarn. Due to the thickness of the yarn, Vams makes for easy-to-knit garments and is therefore a good start for beginners. Vams is well suited for felting, for thicker garments and structured knits. The yarn is lightly spun and therefore contains a lot of air, which makes even large garments feel light and airy. Since the yarn is so lightly spun, we use wool from adult sheep for more durability and to avoid pilling.
