Knitted from the top down, the Icelander (Islender) for women is a fully patterned sweater knitted in the classic Icelander pattern. The sweater has a short, straight and relaxed shape with a round neck. The sweater is knitted from the top down. First, a neck edge is knitted and then folded double. The neckline is shaped using circular needles, while increasing to raglan. Between the raglan increases, a small pattern is knitted. After the raglan increases, the work is divided, and the body and sleeves are knitted separately. For a relaxed fit, choose a size that is 10-16 cm larger than your own chest width.
This kit comes with the Pattern Booklet (433- Fivel, children, ladies and gentlemen)and yarn for the size chosen. Please note that the pattern is written for Fivel, but for Sarah's edition, you will be using 3-Tråds Strikkegarn.
